     SUPERBOY RETURNS

Superman has always been one of my favorite superheroes. Though Superman isn't actually my all time favorite superhero, that would be The Ray (and Aquaman was my favorite when I was growing up watching the superfriends on saturday morning).

I enjoy the stories of him as a boy growing up in Smallville, more than the adult years, because of all the "Alien Growing Up Alone" sort of story that I could relate to.

After seeing Superman Returns and way too much Smallville, I decided to make my version of Superboy from one of my stories I have been working on over the years. Sort of a cross between the movie Superman and Tom Welling from Smallville (only with muscles, because the one in my story actually has them).

Superboy (in this picture) is played by Hiro, my favorite human model from www.daz3d.com.
Superboy's texture started out as the Superboy texture from Muskateer Graphics but has since been revamped and reworked into what you see (and more as I'm still working on it).
The background is from the 1978 soundtrack cover to Superman: The Movie by composed by John Williams.
And of course Superman and Smallville are owned by Warner Bros and DC Comics whom I have nothing to do with other than collecting a lot of their stuff and watching a bunch of their shows.
